The 2024 residential Norwich and Cambridge Early Dance Weekend course moves to a new venue at the University of East Anglia.
Norwich Historical Dance is delighted to inform you that Kath Waters, professional dance lecturer and well known performer, will be the tutor for our next course running from Friday 5th to Sunday7th April 2024. The venue will be the peaceful and expansive campus of the University of East Anglia with its unique Sainsbury Centre art museum. The course will cover Italian Renaissance and English Playford dances. Saturday afternoon is reserved as a time to explore locally or just to rest up a little.
Kath has worked as a professional dance practitioner for over 30 years. She has a passion for historical dance forms and enjoys teaching in the fields of Renaissance and Baroque alongside her work in the more mainstream dance styles of contemporary, ballet and jazz. Kath also works as a choreographer and movement director, specialising in movement for actors.
