We are looking for a male scholarship dancer!
In summer 2018, Vadstena-Akademien will present the baroque ballet production Solen och Nordstjärnan at Vadstena slott, with music by Desfontaines, Lully and Düben.
We are now looking for a male applicant with basic experience in baroque dance for scholarship in dance. Baroque dance requires strong footwork, musicality, balance and coordination in particular, but skills in acrobatics, acting and mime are also a plus. An interest in entering into another era and collaborating with singers and musicians in the opera context is essential. Professional dance training and some basic experience of baroque dance are requirements. Participating dancers receive payment in the form of a grant for all the days they spend in Vadstena. We are looking for a male dancer born in 1987 or later.

SCHOLARSHIP
Thanks to our donors, Vadstena-Akademien can financially support scholarship holders during their stay in Vadstena and their future education at the Academy. They receive a daily payment in the form of a grant to cover their food and accommodation.
